I broke a hydraulic line and lost most of the fluid. After the repair and oil replacement the loader cycles very slow. Never had a problem before or thought it needed to be done, but if so, how?

I just changed the fluid in my MF . Manual on it shows bleeder plug to loosen while running , let air bubbles out , shut tractor off , tighten plug . I don't know if your procedure is the same or not .

Chances are you have air in your system. Have you cycle your boom and bucket cylinders in and out to their max. If not lift your boom to its maximum height and hold the lever in the lift position for a few second until you heard the engine taking the load, then do the same in the down position, this will probably raise your front end. You will have to do the same with the bucket.

And this is the process for purging air out of the system?

This is how we use to do it with are heavy equipment. I still do it every time I hook-up my fel, to purge any air that could have infiltrate the system during installation or removal.
