HELLO TO ALL,
we got almost 4inches of snow here in east central missouri.
i tried blading the snow in 6th gear. the snow did not roll off
the blade like it should. i tried in 8th gear, and it worked great.
i kept my rpms down to 1500. of course this small amount of
snow is not much of a test, i am hoping for a big one later on
in the winter. i had my machine in 4wd.

Question - was the snow sticking to the blade. While I was going to college I worked for a small city, spent quite a bit of time plowing snow. We did two things to our plows, kept them painted, and we had a special non-stick spray that we used on the blade before going out. We did plow at around 25 mph but the snow did not stick at all and rolled easily. I made a blade for a 4 wheeler I had, sprayed pam on it before each snow, and that worked, most plowing was at less than 5 mph.
