- 2009 New Holland 50hp with front loader
Hello everyone,
I am hoping that by joining this group you may be able to help me gather information on a project that I am taking on. I have a good friend that is selling me his 2009 NH 50hp tractor that broke at the joining section of the rear end. I have not seen, but hear that this has happened before. The tractor was pulling a 6' mower with a half a load of dirt on it when it came apart. There were no signs of cracks or leaking of fluids on his new shop floor just inside of where the tractor broke. I have made several attempts to the local Beaumont Texas dealer in reguards to this issue, but received no help. I find it hard to believe that a tractor can break being just under 4 years old. If you know of any issues with these past tractors please let me know.
I have seen that the design change has been made to give the top side of the axel some support. I will have to make brackest to the machine myself, but find it hard that no one will step up to tell me that this was a bad design.
I have noticed in some of your convesations issues with the cracked plastic fenders. I have found in putting this one back together that fine metal mesh melted between the seams make a good bond point. Give it a try and go to youtube to see how to weld the plastic back into place.
