Bigger loader bucket?

I'm thinking about putting a larger bucket on my loader. I find I can't come close to overloading the bucket with what I've filled it with. What options for size should I go with? What are the best manufacturers selling them? I'm not looking to double the size by all means, but I would like to come closer to capacity.

Just a word of caution, the bucket you have not was very carefully engineered for you tractor. I had a L3830 and all though I did not change out the bucket I was lifting logs that were to heavy for the machine I did damage to the front axle, to the tune that the seals kept going out.

If you have the skid steer type Q/A on your FEL you should be able to get any skid steer type bucket. There are hundreds if not thousands to choose from. Markham (of toothbar fame) is one such manufacturer with reasonable pricing - Markham Welding - Home

Hi All -

Last winter I purchased an 8' snow bucket from Wildcat Attachments, Denton, NC, for a 5030 HSTC. I found that when the snow was light and fluffy, I had no problem at all. However, when the snow was wet, the tractor was light in the rear. Rear tires were loaded and I had an 8' rear blade on the back. The front bucket was quick hitch skid steer attached. I have since bought a new 3240 HSTC. The machine does everything I want it to do; and I am going down to NC after the first of the year to pick up a 7' snow bucket for this one. There are three or four different companies in the Denton, NC, area; and from what I see, Markham has the best quality. (Just one man's opinion.)
