I did it outside and surprisingly enough it wasn’t nearly annoying as a dry cut chop saw.
A little slow and tiring for my liking though.

^^^ I'm thinking just a regular skill saw with a Princess Auto blade in it.
I made a spacer for my skill saw and use my chop saw blades in it. I use them down to 7.25 inches in the chop saw and then if I need to I can use them up more in my skill saw.

Holes drilled for clamps and 1940's Made in Canada Henry vise. Henry supplied vises for the WWII Allied forces

How much do you think that table weighs? How much weight in the base? Nice looking for sure snd a great smallish vise should come in handy.
Geesh a skill saw and cutting 3/4 inch plate must have been tough. Looks like it worked though.

This table is prob about 400 pounds. I haven't weighed it yet
Didn't need weight in the base. The top is heavy but only 36 inch diameter and the base is 22 inch diameter. At 32" overall height you can't tip it.
The other larger diameter table will need a heavier base though.
