That is interesting Kelsir. My BX25 is also tight getting the right side upper pin in/out. Always have to use the stabilizer on that side to get it in/out. I will be getting my car jack out the next time I mount the hoe. Thanks.

I hope this helps each one of you. I think that the Kubota jig they use to weld the right side is off about an 1/8". When they replaced the right side at the dealer, it was identical to the original. Here is a little better pic. A little weld and polish down in the saddle would be the best fix. I did this as a quick fix to see if it worked.

Test the pin fit with the backhoe removed, I did and found the pin fit quite easily with no effort whatsoever thus any difficulty in getting the pin in when installing is strictly alignment not hole size or sloppy paint, etc.

Kelsir66 , fooled with mine a little this evening. I do believe you are onto the issue that my BX 24 has. am using banding straps and experimenting with the thickness and placement!
Thanks, I'll keep all posted!

You welcome. Just wanted to add also that whatever you use to shim the pin up with, just make sure you are only filling in the small gap in the bottom of the saddle. The pics I sent makes it look like I cut a shim about a 1/3 of the pin size. That is kinda deceiving because the piece is tapered smaller at the inserted end than the part with the clamps. Only fill in the empty space. I had cut several shims at different widths and used the one that fit.

I was figuring out that is what you did when I started fooling with it!
