Has anyone installed a better seat for their tractor? Princess auto seem to sell a more comfortable and adjustable seat for a good price then what comes standard on CUT's. I have a 1528 massey, the seat is good but I'm sure I could fit something better????

I put a suspension seat from TSC on my Mitsubishi, that was the best mod I have done to that tractor.

I have a Kubota B6000 in the yard that the owner did some work to the seat, but didn't make it any more comfortable. He raised and extended the seat bracket an inch in height and a couple inches rearward. Made all the difference in the world as far as leg room. Being a steel seat, it didn't help much on rearend comfort, but as least the legroom is better!

I put a new, better seat on my Kama.
It's a suspension type with armrests and I got it at Agri-Supply. It's pretty comfortable and is a lot better than my original one. While I was making it fit, I also made it so it could rotate from side to side or lock into the front position.
Here's the thread to it.

Well that plastic material gave out on mine and it just so happened that I had some leather kicking around.
I remouved the old hardened (cold on the a--) plastic stuff and recovered with the leather.
WOW what a differance in comfort. It breathes!--so not hot and sticky in summer and surprise, very warm in winter.

Plus as luck had it the leather was Mitsubishi blue-perfect match!

Leather sounds good,is there any secrects to get it to stay tucked in the corners,my mits 160 could use a new cover. My problem with the stock seat is the springs,my 240 lbs lets them sit on the rubber stoppers,is there a easy soures for a little stiffer spring.I tried to remove the old ones for a matchup, but what looks like a bolt head under the mount is welded,so its more then just a simple remove.Any aposterers (?) ou there?

I added a couple of springs to the sides of the rubber bumpers under the seat of my Ford 1100 years ago, to ease the bumps going up my spine. One end of the spring sat on the tractor with a bolt running thru the center of the spring from the top, with a lock nut on the under side which floated when you compressed the spring with your weight.

I bought a cushion designed for wheel chair use on ebay for around $15 that is just awesome. I went from being fatigued and sore after a few hours of mowing, to being able to mow all day long and remain comfortable. It's a night and day difference.

I mounted a Kubota air seat on my B3030 it took the help of my Kubota dealer to make a few alterations. The seat is great for a straight on bump, the only set-back is when I fully inflate, as I get older my feet may touch the floor!
