Lifting attachments with forklift - anyone install lifting points?

Agree with having implements on pallets would be easier. Maybe the OP actually has a forklift to move his equipment around like the title of the thread suggests?

I find it a pain to move my 3 point attachments for storage or loading them on a trailer etc. They normally don't have natural balanced lifting points.

Anyone come up with optional brackets fitted to the attachments that my forks could slide into. I'm sure I could fabricate something...but looking for any ideas already out there.

Find the balance point and weld on a D ring, Easier to set implements onto a trailer with fenders, pickup bed or to set them perpendicular to the trailer that way.

This lifting mod relates to the John Deere loader bucket pin mount. You could possibly do this same mod with a skid steer mount. I did this mod some time ago. It was after I got my grapple. I had to remove my bucket each time if I only wanted to move the grapple out of the way.

With this mod I could leave my bucket on and still move the grapple out of the way. This can be applied to other loader mounted devices. This is not intended to be used for working the implement, only moving it. Attached pictures.

JD mid-mounts used to be made so you could pick them up with a quick hitch. Not sure if they still are or not.

I modified my box blade for fork pockets, attached picture. Next will be my snow blower maybe.
