Is there anything more secure than this style of Lynch pin to the lower lift arms?
I keep losing them while brush hogging. I'm thinking about using a bolt and nyloc nut, but that would be a pain.

Here is one of John Deere's solutions for mounting a bucket, forks etc. onto a loader frame using a lynch pin. Pt No AW30903. Shown connected and in storage aka device change. Maybe it could be used in your application. Just info.

Kubota makes a locking lynch pin - I use it on the coupler pin on my excavator buckets -- there are several versions - from 17 - 40$ each but they don't drop off like the standard ones -- I carry the standard ones as spares in all my equipment - as everything falls off eventually :)

I have this same problem also. It only happens when using my Woods bush hog. I hope someone has a solution

Tie a thin rope to a point on tractor around round part of pin , keeps my locking pin for quick coupler from getting lost , kevlar rope the best

I used to lose mine all the time. I added a large washer on each side of the arm, then installed the pin. Haven't lost one since.
I have done the same thing on certain implements. In fact, after installing the large washers on the 3pt pins, i use larger hair pins and it works great. Finish mower and snowblower both seem to like it. I have not done so with the big rotary cutter yet.

I converted my Woods brush hog to be quick hitch compatible, because I have the Deere iMatch quick hitch system on my tractor. It was as secure as could be, zero issues, and I'd imagine any other quick hitch would be similarly secure.

Bonus, it would only take about 30 seconds to mount or dis-mount my brush hog. :D
