I guess the only stand alone company that doesn't buy in engines and other major assemblies is Kubota, good luck finding a second source for THOSE parts if they go belly up.

Branson (Kukje) builds their own tractors, engines, etc. Not many do.

As for the other comments on Kioti longevity, it has some merit. But then you must ask how they have done in 24 years. They had a real head start over Mahindra (Japanese-Indian), Branson, TYM, LS, etc. Yet I see very little market penetration at least in our area. But that probably has more to do with the dealer base than the tractor itself. I think with all of the lesser known brands, market penetration is a regional thing. Where there is a real strong dealer, Kioti could be huge in a certain area. But after 24 years, I'd expect more sales from Kioti.

I am a Mahindra and a Branson dealer, but I certainly respect the quality of Kioti, they are a good tractor.
