After trying many years to find the best knife I finally found one a few years ago that I consider one of the best made. It's a Dozier Personal. The blade is made of D2 steel. The blade is glass hard but not brittle. It has to be sharpened with diamond stones. I have dressed two deer in a row with this knife and it would still shave the hair off of my arm.

Edit: I was just looking at the site and saw the Personal was only $205, but still not cheap. I know you get what you pay for...... and Christmas is coming...hmmmm

I had to go find that there $975.00 Dozier knife. It's a Loveless design knife. Any knife with the Loveless name attached it is going to be premium dollars if it's made in the USA.
