Nice wall.

I have a small pile of field rock that Im going to try and make a raised flower garden out of. Are they just dry stacked and then filled behind?

Ya they are dry stacked, with backfill. Here are a few more of my wife's "creations".

Thanks for the compliments on the walls, they where a royal PITA, but they really compliment any area when they're done.

I dig (pun) the KISS rock screener, you're right, its 280 a tandem here too. I gonna try to get down to farm and family this week and take a look at their yorkies, figure I'll take a look at the ratchet rake too while there.

I'd say the best piece of equipment is a power rake, but I don't think they make them that small. I know your looking to buy one of the implements you mentioned, which you should certainly do, but for this, I'd say rent a skidsteer with power rake for a day and be done with it. Spend the seat time on something more fun.
