Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Best FEL MOD

What is the best bucket mod out there for snow removal on a gravel drive? I have tried the PVC pipe and it lasted about 10 minutes. I know you can tilt the bucket back beyond level, but I am looking for something where I can level the bucket, drop it in float and go!

You need to use ABS or Steel pipe. PVC is way too brittle and will shatter as you found out the hard way. Other than that you could try a piece of 4x4 or 2x4 and chamfer the corners. You then bolt it to the bottom of the bucket. The idea is to prvide a rounded or soft edge instead of a sharp cutting edge.
