The racks just sit down in the factory "stake" pockets on the machine. They go really deep on the Kubota so by sliding them in and adding the cross brace they won't move. I can load the bed with firewood and dump it and they don't slip or come loose. (We have the Elec. dump so it is really handy).

As for the bolt heads- thanks for the suggestion. I was planning on cutting them off and adding acorn nuts but honestly sort of forgot about it. I do need to get them taken care of!

Have I said this before? Best accessories we got was the parts to move snow. Made snow removal a fast, dry and a fun job to do.

Added a SuperATV windshield to the Mule SX. This is a vented polycarbonate windshield that attaches to the roll cage with velcro straps. Cost about $300 on Amazon and comes in two pieces that are bolted together.

Also, supposed to come with a long piece of weatherstripping that you install around the edge, but mine came with the weatherstripping already attached. Looked like my box had already been opened so I wonder if if may have been returned. It looks fine except for a very tiny scratch in the lower left corner that probably happened when installing the vent.

Bolted together and installed in about 30 mins. Definitely helps lower the wind chill on the winter rides. Hope it won't be too hot in the summer because it would be kind of a pain to install/remove every year.

Will have to see how the plastic holds up over time. Mine parks in the garage and doesn't get heavy use, so I anticipate it should be fine.

The hardcoat poly holds up pretty well. Just make sure you drentch them with water, let it sit a minute, then soak it again before cleaning it. You want to soften all the dirt and rince as much as possible away before wiping it with anything.

Don't fret, the polycarbonate will eventually become hazy due to inherent small scratches. When we bought our gas powered Kubota side by side, I had the dealer install a 2 piece folding windshield made from automotive style laminated glass.
