Im looking for info on my leaking 3 spool valve that controls lift, boom and float and rear down pressure. This is a Russian tractor and bucket also.I removed the dog house covering the spool valve and found my oil leaking out the control valves. Can seals be replaced in the tractor or is it best to just remove it and make repairs on the bench? There are a hand full of 10mm bolts holding the cover over the control valves now if I remove these bolts will the control valves just slide out so I can reseal them ?

Humm is this a tuff question how about Belarus owners type up? Im not braging but out of the 20 plus years I have owned this tractor all I have done is oil changes and regular maintaince. Replaced wiper motor and rewired glow plugs its been good to me till now with this oil leak at the control valve.

Not sure if it can be done in tractor, hope so, cause I have the same problem with mine. I have the seal kit here to do the job, just haven't got around to the fix yet. Here is what's inside.

Thanks for the picture and reply! Inside the cab after I removed the panel I can lay down with both hands on the control valve from the picture spools are spring loaded and the control rod has a ball for it to pivot. The seals look like there on the outside of the ball control rod. The picture looks like I can remove seals after I remove the cap bolts.I think I will wait for someone else that has done to post so I do not loose parts. Where did you get the seal kit?

I had the kit come from Russia, was cheaper then buying it here in Canada! I will be replacing mine sometime this summer, when I do, I'll post pictures.

What I cannot determine from the picture is if the springs are held onto the spools Via a retainer of some sort or if they are held in place by the bolt on cover. Logic says they have to be connected to the spool so that they center the spool when shifted either way. Are there any seals on that end? I don't believe so but can't tell from the picture.

On the opposite or control linkage end. Is there a cover that comes off that exposes the ball or are those seals around the ball joint? Almost looks like it could be seals around the ball joint similar to how a conventional ball valve is made. Is there where you are seeing the leak?

Waiting on reply of someone who knows about this if not Im going to blow it apart for reseal. Oldnslo this oil leak is coming from the ball joint area and dripping out control rod linkage from the picture it looks like I could reseal shaft after removing 10mm bolts I could be wrong.

Belarus bulldog Did you ever reseal the spool valve or the lift cylinders? Do you have any info?

I am not seeing any seals, but that don't mean that they are not there.

Most spools are a precision fit and have no seals. Even if you could find new spools, what if it is the bore that is worn.

The valves that do have seals, are not high pressure seals, they are there to prevent any debris from getting into the spool /bore area.

If it is a stacked valve, then each stack will have o-rings seals between sections that can be replaced.

It is the smaller particles that the filter can not filter that will cause the wear on the spools and bores.

20 years is a long time for some things and maybe it is time to replace if you can not accept the leakage.

Is the leakage like 10 drops per minute or greater?

Hi Belarus Bulldog.
where did the valve diagram come from? I have 2 repair manuals but they don' go into that much detail on the hydraulics.
Could you post more details on how the system works?
My 820 sat for 6 months and now the hydraulic barely works. I have removed the cover and made sure spool #28 is free. What next?
