Yes, the bolt pattern should be the same.
Which copy are you looking at, and what is wrong with your 390?

It should the chinese engines are just clones, Make sure the shaft size is correct

Also curious what happened to the Honda GX. I did not know they could ever die unless they were run without oil or some such fate.

I made the swap with an 8hp Harbor Freight engine this past summer on a BCS 720. It bolt up went fine. My problem was getting the cone clutch off the old engine shaft. And the new engine works very well. Good luck with your swap.

Also curious what happened to the Honda GX. I did not know they could ever die unless they were run without oil or some such fate.

They can die, believe me. Had one on my rear tine tiller and it tossed a rod after about 10 hours. I got no satisfaction from American Honda nor the servicing dealer locally. It now has a Predator motor on it. Been 3 years, no issues. I landfilled it (after I drained what oil was left in it), poured it out through the hole in the block.

I'd love to have a BCS-Mosa with a Hatch diesel on it. Thats the cat's meow.
