Battery life ?

There are only a couple of US manufrs. left in the country. The battery is built to the specs of the order. Usually the longer life batterys have deeper cases and better lead plates.Our military batteries used to always be dry. This gives a longer shelf life than shipped wet.The only Battery we have not used is the Optima, due to the cost per unit. I understand it is the best, especially for sports such as boating and auto racing.Compact tractors may bounce more and therefore shock and shake them more.

My 4300 OE battery lasted 5 years, and the NAPA replacement is now 5 years old, but seems a little weak, especially at single digits temperature. Found a sealed AGM battery at PowerSurge that fits in the tight space (Group 22NF), 550 CCA, and the life is expected to be over 10 years.

Forget the PowerSurge battery, it's a relabeled deep cycle scooter battery, not a high cranking amps unit.

What size Die-hard platinum did you use in the 4520? Thanks.

Haven't changed it yet but am going to verify that a Group 34 will fit next week.

I use the Die Hard Platinum for my boat's engine and trolling batteries.
