Agree on the late model Quality. The 5103 I started using a few yrs. back at a 100 Hrs. Sent it in for service. I heard it and had my suspicion after useing it a few times of a Knock in it. I didn't now if it was normal for a new JD. motor. Sure enough must of seen the metal in the oil the dealer had to go in it and replace a Rod and Bearings.
