About 4 years ago I had to replace the battery. What is normally a simple job on other machines I own turned out to be a nightmare in this instance. Access is gained by removing the side panels. This model does not have an automotive type lift up hood. I could get a good grip on the battery, but there was no way to remove it, i.e. something was always in the way. I wound up pretty much removing the whole forward cowl so the battery could be taken out from the front. There's got to be a better way. Can someone tell me what it is?
