I'm building (or having built) a 40x80 pole barn. I have the posts set already (6x6 square pine). I planned on using wood for trusses, and having the metal sheets put on next.
Now I'm wondering if it would be more cost effective to use metal trusses or cees and zees? Just happened to be eating lunch in a metal building, and with the added insulation, was very impressed with the buildout.
Any input?
