Here is the pic with the sunrise and the rainbow, Its not a great shot but believe me it was spectacular

I would like to point out that the sun was actually rising on my back taking this photo. the whole sky was red for about 10 mins during this time there was a very fine drizzle

Vin, if you take away the rainbow, that photo reminds me a lot of the photos taken during the massive California fires that almost got Leo. That's really a surreal scene. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Here is a series of pictures that I took Sept. 20, 2000 at around 10am over the skies of Pearland, Texas. I call them sky colors. I e mailed them to the local weatherman and he said the ice crytals and the sunlight created the prisms of color above the clouds! Hope you enjoy!
