I'm very new to posting anything on anything, but I have never seen anyone not get their question (eventually) answered here so here goes, about $19.9k for XR3135H. That's with fel and without tax. To be clear, it's open station. Most research involved the cabbed model. I would prefer open. Should I continue this investigation?

Depending on your needs and dealer pricing, could be worth looking into 4140H too if the increased loader, 3PH specs, larger front tire size, and PTO power have value... money well spent for my uses.

We've only had ours for a short while, but are very pleased with it. Its a cab, and we paid $26K. I think you're looking at a very good machine at a very good price.
Thanks PJ. Do you have any concerns owning the cab? My thought process was "more moving parts, more things that can go wrong" (bit of a pessimist). This desert can be unforgiving in places and a rough ride here and there is guaranteed.

None whatsoever. My concerns were more with not having a cab; cold in the winter for snow removal, hot in the summer for mowing, and ground hornets in the pasture.

Most folks concern with cabs is where there are a lot of trees to hit or have to trim to be able to operate a cabbed tractor. Of course there is the additional expense, but I was thinking, in the desert, a cab would be very beneficial. Several here have posted that the cab saved their lives because they are allergic to bee and wasp stings, and have been attacked while in their cab. With a cab you can laugh at the stinging varmints, with open station not so much.
We have bees for sure. Just fought a swarm a couple years back that drilled into a gape in home foundation. It's fixed now but wasn't without deadly poison and the balls of a man on Coors and Jameson at 0530. I have plenty of mesquite on property and bees seem to like them but other than that, they mostly pass through so I'll take my chances. I REALLY do appreciate your advice but I'd have the cab open anyway, before I know it, I might have locked them (the smart ones) in with me. I'm borrowing from myself and have cash for the xr3135h, hydraulic cylinders and a deep dish 6' boxblade(rippers) all ready to walk out the door Thursday. I live on the back side of a mountain and what's not slope, is a caliche field so cutting is the name of the game here.

I ran into caliche down south of me where there is a lot of irrigation - wheat. Man, that is some tough stuff. Here I deal with basaltic lava bedrock. Nothing agricultural will cut that but it makes a fine base to drag a plow across. Sounds like you have found a good deal.

Not to fret. I have plenty of spots on the property that are tillable and I have a great garden - that myself & all the wild critters enjoy. My main crop here is Ponderosa pine.
I looked at a cabbed version of my Kubota when I bought a new tractor and decided I would stay with open station. I still enjoy being out in the weather and don't do any work with a rear cutter - don't have any ground dwelling bees or hornets and have a full set of Eddie Bauer down winter clothing. At the time, a cab for my Kubota was an additional $6K to $7K. Another advantage here - whether its very hot or very cold, the humidity is always very low. The only time the humidity will be above 30 to 35% is when it rains.

Congrats! Looks like you've put those hydraulic remotes to good use. Hope you enjoy your LS as much as I did mine.
After reading this forum, I'd of been crazy not to get them. Thanks for noticing. I had to give up the Bush hog I wanted to get the cylinders. You guys give a lot of advice to "an individual" but plenty of others are heeding that advice.
