I need to make me around a 1200 pound one out of Concrete .
What's the Dimensions of that one .

Concrete is about 150lbs per cubic foot. Just do some math and design to fit your limits. I just worked it out so it would allow it set on the ground and release from the hitch.

Finished except for a little paint to keep the rebar from rusting. The fork slot forms are giving me some trouble to get out, but I allowed for that and made sure the forks would fit the slot even if the forms were in there and had to come out slowly. I am very pleased with it and look forward to using it tomorrow.

SPECS: 20"X15.5"X71.25" - 21 & 1/2 bags of 80lb Quikrete - 60 lbs of rewire & rebar. Approximate weight 1750lbs.

Thanks! Give or take for water weight, soaking wet I bet it weighs close to the 2000lb mark.

You may be a little heavy as your volume is very close to mine at near 20 cubic feet.

I intend on adding on a few hundred pounds.

Those are rough numbers. It is actually 20.75" x 20.75" x 41.75" = 10.4 cubic feet. Redi-mixed concrete should be between 142# - 144# per cubic foot. I am forming it with treated deck boards and will not be taking the forms off.

Wow. I suppose I had not had enough coffee this morning. I missed a digit somewhere. I though I multiplied and divided by 1728, but I am old and it was early. I was wondering why only 5 inch in on plane was offsetting 30 in another... Never listen to me before noon.

A friend of mine has some RR track I need to cut up and weld on, and maybe add a chain basket.

I had thought about repainting it green, but I may just keep it orange. Right now you can spot it a mile away. That's good, because I misplace things all the time :confused3:

Flames would be cool! I don't really care what color the implements are as long as they are painted.

I use a 55 gallon barrel I made up years ago. 10 - 80 lb bags of ready mix and about 50 lbs of steel framing inside the barrel. I figure it's at least 850 lbs. It's narrow enough to go through the woods without getting hung up on trees.

Here's what I use,I just took an old bait barrel and beefed it up with some rolled 11Ga and a drawbar. I bolted two pieces of hotrolled to the drawbar for the top link, and simply filled it with sand. I figure 300 to 400 Lbs. It has helped greatly plowing snow.I only have three hrs into it and about $35 for parts.
