If you have this valve 9-5117A,
Check your wiring against the data below. What happens with this valve is that one solenoid valve is normally open, and the other solenoid is closed, shifting the fluid from curl to
grapple. Both solenoids are powered on at the same time.
In power off state, the curl works normally.
A single switch powers the unit on. Momentary on switch, or an on/off switch.

9-5117 is wired so a single pole double throw, will select which circuit the FEL will control.
A SPDT-CO (Single Pole Double Throw-Center OFF
switch can be used to switch the solenoids.
These solenoids are selected one at a time, and circuit 1 or circuit 2 should be selected before using the FEL valve to control the curl or
grapple.
