I am putting in a new yard and yesterday while loading top soil in the dump trailer my piviot in the loader controler broke. So I switched jobs and put on the brush hog and started mowing my buckwheat food plot. I finished that and changed to the york rake as I mounted the tractor I noticed my power stearing fluid res. cracked wide open. Then I was making a list to have the dealer fix while they have it and noticed the upright arm that the loader control is mounted on is split down the seam. WHAT NEXT!!!! 150 hrs and it is allready breaking.

They have long since replaced that pot metal pivot mount in the loader control with a steel one. They don't break, although they should be installed with a dab of blue loctitie to keep things tight. The power-steering tank is vulnerable to impact, and some have failed without obvious impact. It is cheap and easy to replace, or you can ask the dealer to eliminate the tank and plumb it like the newer models. I've not seen a loader control arm split, that is odd.

Tomorrow has to be a better day!
