Good Morning Jim
Weather reports from your area seem not to be a bad winter. Unless living in Flagstaff area then all is normal.
Noticed Arkansas is 35 on the chart you posted. We tend to keep our weather on a closed or quiet information because the worst fear we have is a Michigan car with U-Haul plates visiting a Realiter. Always they know how we must change to be just like it was back home.
So finally got the stove put up. Most all wood that I have picked up in your area was full of ants. bees or some varmint that didn't want to be disturbed.
Where are you getting yours.
It takes several years for a tree to grow above the level of grass in field. then looks dead until the annual rain of 1/4th inch rain comes in the spring along with the wind 24 hour s a day. blowing 30 MPH picking up dust looking like a storm coming across the plains.
Really I had planned to retire in the Tucson area closer to mountains North of the city or toward Stateline with N..Mex. But like all plans things changed and had to return to Ark.
Now glad I did after all how can you not like good people. low wages and a place to call home and know most all that live in the county by first name.
and get invited to come in and enjoy a meal.
Last week had to be in home of family of Northern resident (Michigan) and their dog came up to my right leg. so reached down and petted it on the head rubbed back and my glove got caught in its collar . dog went nuts . running around in circles to get glove off. picked up the dog walked to owner had her release glove and then put dog down.
she was thinking I had done this on purpose. finished what supposed to do and thinking never will be called to come again to that house.
You mentioned have a few extra parts in your shed. By chance a starter for a Farmall Low Boy C-60 engine. turns ccw the starter I have spins backwards to the need.
Is the VA leaving you alone or just not mentioning the experamce .
