Crash, my mom was being treated for several months for back pain...Pain pills, braces, physical therapy. Turns out that she had a n infection in her vertebrae. Not easy to treat, but she started feeling better when she was being treated for the right problem! Not to say your doctors don't have the issue targeted, but sometimes they don't see everything right away.

Not much to say. Hardly anything going on.
Filled little red wagon with wood. Most of it pretty crummy, but it burns.
Cut up a fair amount of mesquite, gave it all to Doug. No big deal still have some left over.
If I had lots of wood would not use propane heaters. Not up to gathering & cutting like in the old days.
Nice fire in stove this AM, house nice & warm.. Bobby Girl does not like the stove fired up. Smell or ?????

More little drizzles, no real rain.

Heater on deck sure is noisy. Hope it works out for the old cast iron stove. Remember them as being very quite. On natural gas they give off noxious fumes. It has a 3" outlet &* can be fit through the wall (railing). But test it out first.

Some kind of goings on south of me. They hauled a pickup load out. One would think that by now anything that was worth hauling off would be gone.

More later,
Jim

..."As has been said only the good die young. & Everyone wants to go to heaven, but not today...."

Here's how the preacher told the joke about"getting up a load".

The Sunday School teacher was telling the class of second grade boys about the wonders of heaven. They listened with rapped attention as he described the details of the final chapters of the Bible. When he finished, he turned to the class and asked, æ»´ow many of you want to go to heaven? Every hand shot except for one. Little Bobby just sat there.

The teacher assumed Bobby hadn稚 heard the question so he asked again, 滴ow many of you want to go to heaven? Again every hand shot up except for Bobby痴. So the teacher asked directly, 釘obby, you want to go to heaven when you die, don稚 you?

徹f course, Bobby replied, 釘ut I thought you were getting up a load up right now. I missed the bus home last week and my dad said I better get home right after church this week or else!

Hi Jim The weather reporters seem to jump past the Ariz. state to tell of all the mess going on in N. Mex. ice sleet snow and cold temps. All coming from California.
so have a update of events there.

Are the books on the way or missed getting to Post Office.

mentioned having ups and then down feelings. night sweats and freezing . Brother after broken pelvis and getting it nailed back together and taking drugs and pain pills mentioned very much like your description.

Doc. said screws but the x ray looks just like the cement square type nails used to build concrete forms. He hopes they were washed before having them put in. Little over a year ago this happened still unable to get balance . so avoid having a stroke and make the appointment before needing the visit speeds up the treatment by several months.

Hi Jim as to the completely different shoes happens almost every day. One right and one left.
The Thermal undies.
Working in N. Mex. was in a clothing shop for some shirts. and talking to owner he related the previous fall the ranch owner had came in and paid for complete assortment of clothing. for his workers overalls shirts coats boots the normal type a cowboy would wear . including long johns . close to the new year one of the workers stopped in and mentioned that thinks had been shorted a pair of long johns. Back in Sept.
He had taken a bath and went to shelf where the clothing was kept and the pair was missing. The clothing store owner never questioned if order was short or if this was first bath since he had put on the other pair.
just handed over a pair of long johns.

The carrier pigeon flew off on Wen. on its way to Phoenix by way of LA. Then to NY & Fla. Box may get there any year now.

Felt like crap Tuesday, not sick, but may have felt better if I were. Wednesday felt much better. back on good behavior until 1/2 way through the new Fry's store. It's just too damm big. Bout the same size as Wally World. Would go too old store were it not for my friend Oscar working there. did not need it but would get 1 sack of dog seeds any way. Off he goes to get the seeds. Finds me & says there is a ripped sack taped up for 1/2 price, fine with me. Its waiting at front of store when I check out. People very helpful & have a chart as to where things are located. Its needed. Sweet little girl ( Name is Dulce, sweet in Spanish ) bags me up & loads it in truck. Cashier empty's basket for me. Back in a full up roar.
GAS up truck
Off to Wally, just across the street.

Have to quit. Will continue later,
Jim

Jim received the box and thanks notice the cost was more than expected so a reimbursement is on the way.

May use the plane old method of having the mailman deliver.

Several of the old gas engines I have seen . Ever go to pumping Sta. at Duncan Ariz It had a engine with 10 foot flywheel and each rod had a compressor attached. When starting with 6 foot pry bar engine would be jacked until spark setting reached then standing near top of flywheel roll past the point and spark started the engine. if not and back fire the bar flew out the roof. dangerous situation .
Grew up with 4 cyl. Hart-Par like 2 John Deere engine sitting with common crank shaft. Sawmill and did well.

begin to have lightening so time to get off DSL line and shut things down
