Bad Boy ZTR mowers ?

I also saw one on display at the TSC among a bunch of other ZTR's and I was quite impressed with the build quality. Clearly, the materials and construction quality was better than the other offerings there and it would be on the list of ZTR's that I would consider. I'm sure that there are better ones out there but again, one needs to consider the cost factor. This was $5k but I have seen others well over $10k. As I don't own one, I can't comment on that but my first impressions is that it's a step above the vast array of consumer oriented mowers out there.

If you think that the Bad Boy ZT mower offered at TSC is a step above the others, you should find a full line Bad Boy dealer and see the whole line that Bad Boy offers. You will be impressed with what a few more bucks can buy---and get service to boot.

I have looked briefly at the Bad Boy at Tractor Supply and I don't think it has anything on the Hustler Fastrak quality for about the same price.

That's a pretty cheap shot by whatever rep made that statement.

As dealers, we are told by Bad Boy themselves, that they are a debt free company, and they are expanding rapidly.

I doubt it. We may be the only mower company that didn't raise prices this year. Bad Boy purchased a 100,000 sq ft. warehouse in 2007. We just opened a new 70,000 sq. ft. assembly shop. There is a new product coming to the market in 2009.

I will stop in, next time I am there and we can talk about it. I could use a dealer in Lancaster County. You live in a beautiful part of our country, my wife loves to visit.

badboy07, no matter what some dudes here might say about your mowers, I'm still impressed with them. :)

We will manufacture this vehicle at our facilities in Batesville, AR and/or Melbourne, AR. I believe, it will be available in gas, Diesel, or electric. Maybe, not in that order. Electric dump bed, 4x4, bench seat amd more. No pricing info at this time. I am confident, they will be priced right. The unit shown is one of the prototypes and could see many changes, before, it sees the marketplace.

Believe 1/2 of what you see, and none of what you hear. No, I am not a Bad Boy dealer.

Had a potential customer last year ask me if Montana was going out of business because a local Farmtrac dealer told him they were. I know he didn't buy from me and I bet he didn't buy from that dealer either but the dealer might have stirred up enough worry that he sent him to JD or Kobota for fear of future service troubles. I was glad that he asked me about this and told me where he heard it so I could at least explain my side of the story.

Shame on the big mouth product rep that told you this. If you can't play fair, you shouldn't play!

The zero turn market has enough competition out there without product bashing reps! If the only way this rep can pump up their product, is to tear another product down with stories, I'd look a little harder at the line they represent!

It was a rep from a competing line, It is a guy I'd trust though... not some hot headed company man. That being said... thats why I said "I'm not sure if there is anything too this". Like the CUT market, there are too many players in the zero turn business. If consumer spending does drop we will see some companies go by the wayside... I've got no idea who they will be.

But see, if I wanted to start a rumor but shield myself from said rumor, that's exactly how I would do it.

Hustler and Exmark reps have been going around to Bad Boy dealers no less and letting them know Bad Boy is going out of business. They've also instructed their dealers to let the public know that Bad Boy dealers can't get parts for their mowers, which is ludicrous. I agree- if you can't play fair, don't play at all.

By the way, I'm a Bad Boy dealer myself.
