Anyone have a backup camera in there cab tractor and if so what kind and how nice is it to have? I am buying a new cab tractor and was wondering if it would be nice to have. thanks

For me honestly I wouldn't get a back up camera, its kind of useless. You can get folding wing mirrors on the tractor if set up correctly work very nice and can be folded when not in use and in tight close quarters.

I thought about adding one to baler tractor...
The only place I would put a backup camera is on the sides of the tractor with my 7230R and Maschio Pantera 520 because when I'm tilling I don't see anything off to the sides and theres about 2 feet sticking out on each side at least and overlap sucks.

This is what I use in the V417.
Can't see much to the right looking out the front with a round bale out there.
The front camera is mounted above the right wheel
I have tilted the camera up to see higher, since this picture was taken.
This shows what I saw in the monitor.
You can see the backup camera next to the tail light lens.
I drove on across the cattle guard and shifted to reverse.
Backed up and stopped with the first pipe at the lower edge of the monitor.
This is how close it was.
It switches to the rear camera when I pull the reverse lever, and the front camera in neutral or forward.
You can also select the rear camera on all the time if you are pulling something you want to keep an eye on while going forward, just glance at the monitor.

I have such great vision from any angle on my tractor i dont see the need for one. I also believe 4shorts has one.
Not trying to be mean or anything but with a 200hp tractor its hard to see the sides of the tractor since your so high up and with the angle on a smaller tractor its easier to see.

We have been selling them for a while and we haven't put any on the tractor by themselves we have mounted them on the rear of some harvesting equipment like big square balers and combines. The units are virtually pre packaged and we get them from CNH.

I do have one guys and just love the thing. I've had it on two tractors and one in my truck. I don't only use it for backing up but its also used as an early warning system with vehicles are sneaking up on me on the road or if someone walks behind the machine. It's save my butt a couple of times now. It's added insurance in a crazy world.
