Yes, Island Tractor, I've used it quite a bit, and it has been helpful on several larger stumps, like the one below.

One shot shows the ripper being used to strip even more soil from the pulled stump, so it could be carried away... otherwise it would tax my capacity.

Nice. If you haven't done so already (I haven't seen it) you should start your own thread in the attachments section. Your el cheapo ripper should be very popular. I think most commercial options start at about $400-500 and require removing the bucket.

If I were doing what you did I might consider a backing plate and perhaps castle nuts or some system to allow quick in the field change over to plain bucket. That would be really useful.
