Backhoe removal

My neighbor recently bought a L35 with a BT900 backhoe. Any hints on removal? He needs to mount his recently acquired Deere 25a flail

Find a flat area. Put the swing lock in. Put the stabilizers lightly on the ground and put the bucket lightly on the ground. Use the bucket controls to rock until the pins slide out. Drive forward a tad and shut down. Unhook hydraulics and move both levers. Install 3 point hitch.

Somewhere in there I like to lower the hoe to the ground since that will probably happen anyways over time. Do that while pulled forward but still connected.
