OK I am the new owner of a BX25 and now have about 8 hours on it. I was wondering if it is normal for the backhoe to sag down to the ground from its fully retracted position over the period of a couple days?

I could see it on an older model, but would think a new "tight" unit would hold position. I just stuck the lock pin in to keep it in place.

I have a CCY SC2450 and mine will drop some during use and while sitting but not to the ground.
Mfg say it is normal but I am with you on new vs old.

I run with lock pins in place unless I plan on using the BH.

My BX will drop overnight if I don't use the lock pin.

I was told by Dealer that is typical and from what I understand from other owners common.

Normal..My BX will do that without the lock pin installed...Throw it in and forget about it.

yup, sounds normal to me. Mine will leak down pretty quickly without the pin in place.

Matt.

Unless you plug in the lock pin it will
always do this as the simple force of
gravity it taking its toll on the boom.
