Backhoe joystick replacement

Guys, I have a Kubota B7100 tractor with a backhoe attachment on it. It has 4 separate levers to control the backhoe. I would like to replace them with 2 joystick contols. Just not sure what I can use. I found these on the Surplus Center site. Not sure what I need for flow (GPM) etc. Any help, or ahs anyone done this? Thanks

What about using the existing valve and making joystick adapters for it? I used a 6 spool valve when I built my backhoe and made the joystick adapters for it, total cost was about $20. Take a look at this thread on another forum, it shows what I am talking about and how to fabricate the adapters.

Welcome to TBN . First i think Kubota should have a conversion kit for your application . You might check with the person you bought the tractor from they may have the other two lever controlls or may have bought it with the four lever controlls already intstalled . I would get a schematic from Kubota for the hydralic layout.

DON'T just replace with any old valve. BH control valves are full of stuff that you won't have in a normal valve. Like pressure relief on the cylinder side, ability to operate 2 spools at once, ect.

I'm going to take another look to see if I can may be adapt a plate like in the post. May be a little tricky but possible. I'll check with the Kubota dealer as well to see if they have or know anything about a conversion kit. I'll keep things posted.
