Kubota 2100
HI.....I've searched through everything in this forum that I can find trying to find a solution to my frontloader problem, and have tried and failed to resolve this.
This is a Kubota B2100 with LA301 frontloader. I had to replace a couple of the frontloader hoses due to leaks so replaced all four hoses coming out of the hydraulic block. Since then, the loader does not function. If I hold the lever down long enough, the loader will eventually jump a couple of inches and immediately stop until I go through the process again. Same with the tilt function of the bucket....if I hold the lever in position long enough I'll get a slight movement, but then it will stop, almost like it's built pressure up, but the pressure releases immediately after a little movement. I reseated all the quick connects and checked all other connections for leaks. The backhoe functions normally. Any suggestions on what to try next? Thanks.

Maybe you have the hoses mixed up. Maybe the main lift and bucket tilt are cross connected. That's all I can think of.

Bet you switched 2 hoses between the lift and tilt cylinders. The PO check valves will prevent anything from moving. Trace each hose to make sure they are both connected to the same set of cylinders.

What he said and BigDeano said just before he did. Almost sure to be your problem. It's like sparkplug wires - if you don't know which point on the distributor fires which cylinder, change only one wire at a time.

Thanks all. Sounds reasonable even though I was VERY careful, but I still could have messed it up. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.

If you changed out all hoses would you not have to bleed hydraulic fluid back into the lines?
As they are cylinders (not a thru feed motor) could there be a large air pocket trapped in the lines that you replaced.

If checking the lines are connected correctly does not fix your issue maybe try disconnecting each line individually at the cylinder and see if it pumps fluid out when you activate the valve. It may help to have a helper hold the hose end in a bucket to catch the hydro fluid.
