Dug a few stumps today. They're at least 40yr old spruce or fir and I still needed the hoe.

Those little things aren't 40 year old spruce are they?

I don't know how old this one was but it was a good size tree when I bought my place 38 years ago. It was cut down 2 years ago.

No. Bad verbage on my part. What I mean was the stumps themselves are 40 years old. :laughing: As in, I think the trees were cut 40yrs ago.

Trees were 12-18" at the cut.
