backhoe differences

I put this in another forum but maybe here I'll reach a larger audience.

How does a bh 6500 compare to a kubota bh65,bh70,bh80? All these numbers are so confusing. I have a bh6500 that came with my just purchased used L3600. The hoe seems small for that tractor but I think it will do what I need it to.

More specific whats the difference between a woods bh650 and what I have a woods bh6500?

If you think the 'hoe that came with the tractor will work, why not use that a bit before looking into other 'hoes.
It's tough asking folks the differences since most only own one...so how to compare? The best you'll get is "well, my backhoes does a great job" or words to that effect.
As far as specs (digging and breakout forces, etc.), just do some research on your own. You'll find those numbers aren't as confusing as you think. You'll find some won't fit your tractor (so you can eliminate them right off the bat).
And, you'll learn a lot about backhoes during your research!

I never intened to get another hoe. I was just curious about the one on my tractor. :thumbsup:

I think Roy must have sat on his hat! Grumpy... (and that hat could do some damage!) Many of us here on TBN are always casting around after a new 'hoe!!! :thumbsup:

And researching the different models and comparing the capabilities is part of the fun! (Just ask me about the JD models..)

If you want more user feedback and some stats from the "stat guys" - have you tried the Kubota users?

A search on the attachments forum might give you some additional first hand experiences with your model of Woods backhoe as well and some comparative info, too.
