Someone out there must know. Will a B/L 4520b backhoe previously on a 1987 B6200 kubota fit on a 03 7800 and can I use the same subframe or is there a difference. Also what would be a fair price to pay for this unit it has 3 buckets with and has been used relatively little.

Russ,

The length of the 7800 will mean the subframe will require modification at a minimum. If this is a long term investment, I would think to pass on the used BH since the mods required may make it a chore to R&R. The value of a used BH is $2-3K pending condition. New 7.5' units fit to the 7800 will run $5,000 for a woods 7500 and 5500 for a Bradco. Both with subframes but the Bradco 4 point setup is cleaner.

BTW make sure your 7800 has a folding ROPS if you will use a BH in the future.
