If you can get a 4690 in decent shape for a good price, grab it.
Kubota has a beefed-up 3-pt attachment for this unit, but you
can still make a true subframe. Kubota pushes the BH75 and
subframe for your tractor, but it is $$$$$. I think the new
subframes (4-pt style) for the Grand L40s and the BH75/90 hoes
look quite substantial.

I have had 4 JD955s, which I bought to rebuild (bad engines). I
built subframes and mounted backhoes on 2 of them. I did the
subframes differently in those 2 cases as I was trying different
approaches. I posted about one of them a year or 2 ago. The
955 is a small-frame CUT and the 770 is a larger frame unit, so the
subframes would be totally different.
