I have a massive 1736 tractor with the factory sub frame mounted Backhoe. The thing works great for the size of it and has a 16 inch bucket. My issue seems to be the teeth getting ripped off It. It's peeled off about five teeth so far fairly big job for the size of the machine but I notice that it's tearing on the edges of the holes weather horizontal pans go through. The later ones I put on our Deere teeth, T5's andI mounted those shoes and nuts and bolts as a dealer says everybody does. He doesn't even keep pins. They've torn off at about the same rate as the holes always separating around the holes for the pins are more or less.
I've been using just read five nuts and bolts to hold them on and they take a beating. I was wondering whether I should up that to grade eights or should Get some standard pans shove them in and well the ends to the outside of the tooth where it meets that hole. Be easy enough to grind it off if it needs to come off . I'm sure other people found the same issue so what's the great advice? I can't even buy some 5/16 hitch hiking pants stock and cut my own pins and weld a man it would probably be easier than monkeying around with those rather nasty little spring steel things that seem to drift around in there slightly in use over time.

Are you using the correct teeth that fit the adapters that are mounted to the bucket, or are the adapters worn real bad? The pins shouldn't be taking that type of pressure to keep pulling the tooth off.

Well, much of the time it involves pushing away on something like a tree stomp trying to get it to rock a bit. I got that but the teeth , and they do fit just take a beating. They swem to tear the pin holes most of the time.

Don't push away with the teeth. That's bad practice and likely why you are having issues.

Push with the back of the bucket if you want to rock a stump
