I understand the do's and don'ts however have a question. On my CK2610 no matter what angle I have the bucket at when I lower it to drag it flattens out the bucket quite a bit. Any tips would be appreciated.

Mine does not do that. I don't have a Kioti but I assume this is a faulty valve letting pressure/fluid back into the reservoir return line.

Simply tilt the bucket as you drag it. You shouldn’t stay at a static angle anyways. Just adjust the bucket as required, however, not so much that the front wheels lose steering... Dutchy

Mine does the same. Seems like the bucket curl angle should stay where you set it but it goes limp as soon as float is engaged. Not sure if it's supposed to or if something wasn't assembled right.

Dont engage the float function. Float releases pressures.

Don't back drag with the lip. Leverage of the bucket can bend your dump cylinder rods. Better to use the heel of the bucket to back drag.

Dragging the heel can wear it real fast.
On my CUT I welded a wear bar on the heel since I never remove my tooth bar.
Back dragging in 'float' works fine.

On a friends B21 ( that he loans way too often) his heel was totally scrapped so I capped the heel with a HD angle as an attempt to salvage his bucket. LOL, now they can't wear it out.

The curl cylinders should hold at a given position. If not and there is no visible oil leak you prolly have an internal leak in your cylinders. Sometimes on my kioti I have to work the curl all the way down or dumped before my cylinders catch. Hope that makes sense. And back dragging even at a steep angle with float will not damage cylinders. The lift cylinders will float over whatever obstacle is there. Pushing with extreme angle tilted down or dumped will however damage cylinders. Hope this helps.

Wait are you engaging Float? That means you are pushing the joystick control all the way forward where it locks in place. This releases all hydraulic control to the FEL. You will never have control of anything in float. Is that what you are doing?

On many valves when you dump the bucket it can move faster than the pump replaces the oil. When this happens it can pull air into the system creating your floppy bucket situation. Cycle the bucket several times but control the dump to be slow. Then the bucket should hold.

Float does nothing for the bucket cylinder pressure as float only ties the 2 ports on the lift cylinder together and back to tank.

There has been many people bend the curl cylinders even in float back dragging at to steep of a angle.
