B8200 timing marks

Hi all,
I'm about the adjust the valves on by B8200, but can't seem to locate a view port to see the timing marks on the flywheel. Do I remove the starter to see the marks? If not, a picture of the location of the view port would be awesome.

According a WSM, it should be scribed with TC, meaning TDC.

I've never bothered with tdc. I just get the valve next to it completely compressed, then do the adjustment. Bear in mind, one cylinder at a time..i.e. don't use a valve on cylinder one as a reference when your on cylinder 2.

I couldn't find my timing marks with the loader arm brackets in the way.
I basically used this system and it worked fine.

To adjust valves it is not important to be exactly at TDC, only that the lifter is on the base circle of the cam. Use the EO/IC method. (Exhaust Opening / Intake Closing)

Starting with cylinder No. 1 with the valve cover off, rotate the engine until the exhaust lifter begins to move upward. This is the point at which the exhaust valve is opening (EO), meaning the piston is through with the power stroke, and it’s about to begin the exhaust stroke. At this point, the intake valve is closed and the lifter is on the base circle of the camshaft and can be adjusted.

To adjust the exhaust lash, turn the engine over until the exhaust valve has completed its lift cycle and the intake valve begins to close (IC). Now, the exhaust lifter is on the base circle because the piston is finishing the intake stroke and about to begin compression. Set the lash on the exhaust valve and you’re done.

Repeat for each cylinder.
