[SIZE="5" I have a b7800 with aprox 400 hours and for most part completely satisfied. It is HST.
I have noticed that it seems that the hydralic pump seems to be making excessive whine. It this normal. How loud should it be.
Is it something that I could adjust?
Even though it does great there could be a improvement in the noise department sure wish i had bought a backhoe with it or at least a front bucket.
west virginia and no snow to move.
Keep your head high and count your blessings each and every day.
retired us army man said that.

Do you notice the noise being louder in the winter than in the summer? Because thats really true for me in the winter. The fluid just isn't as thin due to the temperature which makes it loud this time of year.

Cold weather does make the HST louder until it warms up. I always let engine run for a few minutes before trying to do anything. More for hydraulics than the engine warm up.
