You can't run over your septic until the soil consolidates, takes about 1 year or one pass through your local wet season. After that you can drive almost anything over it.

The chamber systems are included in this as well but are more sensitive. Still, a tractor should be fine depending on depth. The infiltrator website used to have a table of acceptable weight vs burial depth.

Just mow across the laterals instead of along.

I have a B7800 with a 6' RFM. I love the tractor though I do have to go pretty slow in wet/high grass with that much mower. I have about the same amount of land as you and I put in yards and do odd jobs for other, tractorless, neighbors. I also do side jobs for $. I have yet to have found a job I couldn't handle with my tractor. I love that it is light. It stays on top of areas/yards where I want to stay on top. Don't know much about the other model you mentioned but heavy is not always better. I don't know what the price diff. is but I do know a B7800 is more than enough for the land you have. 30hp is not too much for a tractor as light as mine. It allows me to move up to the larger implements. Good luck.
