I have had my B7800 for about 8 months with no problems. I changed all of the fluids when I first got it in May (approx. 200 hours). Everything was fine after that. A couple days ago I took it out of the barn and neither the FEL or the rear 3-point will go down. Both will go up; the FEL will come down in float; but, neither will go down. No fluid is leaking and nothing is obviously wrong. I will obviously check all the hoses, but does anyone know what is wrong right off the bat?

Thanks, Michael in NH

Is the Hydrostatic transmission & the bucket dump working properly? I don't think the 3 point hydrolock knob will effect the loader.

Yes. Both the transmission and dump seem fine.

vwkismet,

First off I'd suspect a return line/power beyond quick connect is not seated properly resulting in a blockage for the return flow, second I'd make sure the 3ph lever is not engaged in the Full/Up position as this can effect the FEL....

You're obviously experiencing return flow problem back to tank if they go up but not down....Hope this helps....:)

Thanks for the advice. As you suggested, the 3ph lever is out of adjustment and is usually engaged trying to lift the 3ph, thus blocking the return. When I get the 3ph to stop lifting, the FEL works fine.

So, I am going to start searching, but if anyone can point me to a quick and easy tutorial on how to adjust the 3ph lever I would very much appreciate it!
