I have a leaking front axle seal where the gear case pivots when you steer. I have an shop manual for it and don't anticipate any big problems. sounds straight forward with a few snap rings to remove.
My problem is that the seal is 45 bucks and the bearings are under 10 bucks. usually it is the other way around. Kubota probably knows that the seal fails often so they charge for it. Is there an aftermarket source for this seal?
for anyone that is curious I have 340 hrs on it.
will post pics when i get around to changing it
