B7610 will not start

My operator went to start the tractor last storm and nothing. Usually it means the pto lever isn't perfectly in neutral. That was fine. The starter does work when the posts are jumped. When turning the key, on occasion, you can hear a click from inside the steering column, but it doesn't make a difference. I'm thinking possibly a bad ignition switch or safety interlock. Other thoughts?

Yep. You've confirmed the battery is good. When you jump posts does the tractor start and run?

Its usually the operators "seat present switch" or PTO.. meaning the seat safety switch is usually the culprit..
The reason it didn't start when jumping the starter is, the fuel shut off solenoid on the back of the injection pump, had no juice..[12v]
IF you REALLY NEED the equipment>> remove the sol. or figure out how to jump it.
Its usually a 3 wire solenoid..
IF its a 2 wire.. that's easy.. + on 1.. - on the other.

It was a fuse for the ignition or starter
