I work for a municipality, we just got a new B7610 a while back. I have been using it to pull our old horse grader. This is a 2 man operation one on the grader one on the tractor. I would like to make the grader hydrolic as the labor is not available. This means I'd need 3 remote hydrolic sets (6 couplers). tractor has what (from reading on here yesterday) the 4 way valve for our front snow blower. Can I add 3 rear dubble acting remotes some how? I'd prefer seperat leavers for each remote. Can I put a prince 3 spool or somthing on for rear remotes in addition to the joy stick? has some one done this? good mounting spot? I also have plans to convert and widen our ag fab sweeper and would like to run the brush with a hyd motor also possibly hydrolic dump. Do i need to add a oil cooler to run hydrolic motors all day? Special valve consideration? So far like the tractor except for a canopy vibration which I hope to get stoped soon. also the exost dumps on the outer weight (factory option we added). Thanks

Your best bet is to use a Prince SV valve. Since your flow is less than 5 gpm you can use an Eaton-Cessna valve from Surplus Center. Its smaller and 3 spool.

I added rear remotes on my B2710, which is just about the same as yours only the B2710 has an aux hydraulic block and you will have to use the front block that is used by the loader to connect the aux valve in series with.

Do a search on rear remotes in the Kubota forums and you will find several discussions on how to do it.

Here is a link that describes how I did it using the Prince SV valve with 3 remote spools.

I used an Adams road patrol that I converted to a tractor pull, rather than horse drawn, made it a 2 wheel pull type. If you are just doing light grading, (and I think with that size tractor you can’t be doing much more.) You can set your angle, lock the wheels and pull with the 3pt using that for depth of cut. I used that rig for years, until I realized I could enjoy the winter more inside the cab on a Cat motor grader… with the cat, my roads and sunny disposition both improved. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I should have bought the motor grader ten years sooner.

If you are determined to go hydraulic, you should look into electric over hydraulic multi- valves like those offered by VandM inc. see different valves at http://www.vandminc.com/vmsite/vm/fsvdirec.html you might look at the SV series, or SV directional. This could be handier and MUCH cheaper than adding 3 control valves. In any case you should have an interesting project… /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Good Luck, KennyV.
PS… please fill in your profile information so I can see where you are located… AND Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks for the replies. I live and farm part time in southern MN and work full time for a small town where I am responsible for utilities and maintenance. I am amazed at the information this site has to offer. Wish I'd of found it while we were in looking to buy. Would of answered allot of questions. I had something exactly like Mad's set up in mind. I will look into the electric valves as well. I have several projects other than the grader that will be using rear hydraulics. The grader is a Adams Road patrol. It still has the front wheels on it using a added draw bar. with the crowns on our alleys I need to retain the ability to adjust the side to side depth on the grader. Normal grading is a comfortable load on the B7610 in low 4x4. I like using the kubota because it will turn around in the street at the end of alleys or where gravel street meets tar. We have a 5120 Case IH which I can use if I need to cut deep. I'm totally amazed at what this little Kubota will do. finding more use for it every day. Thanks
