I am adding rear remotes to my newly-purchased B7610. I am going to tee into the tank return connection for the FEL. It connects with a JIC-M8 fitting that threads into the side of the transmission. If this is an NPT fitting, it is likely either a 3/8, or 1/2, but I can't really see the threads, the hex is up against the transmission housing. So, this could be an ORB or a BSPP fitting as well. I didn't remove it yet to look, as that would require partially draining the HST. I am not quite ready to change the HST oil yet, and don't have a clean/new oil pan to drain it into, for re-use (esp. one that can hold several gallons, although, I could buy one).

Has anyone here had this fitting off, and know what it is?

Thanks,
Jay

Jay, when I did my 7510, I'm pretty sure it was 1/2" but don't completely remember but the nice thing is...you don't have to drain the HST. I just backed mine out and only a few drops of oil dripped. I'm pretty sure the return is above the oil level. if not...you can easily plug it with a rag while you confirm the threads...

I have the part manual and it only ID's it as part #
75582-66810 NO description of thread size....

Good luck

Oh sure, I do the hard work and you get step by step instructions.... I see how it is....

Seriuosly though.. Here are the thread links I posted..

I started with just a rear hydraulic loop for my splitter and then added the rear rear remotes with PB to keep the splitter loop...

All my pictures and descriptions are here . E mail me if you get stumped...

Rear remotes..

You can go with a smaller valve than I used. Let me know if you have questions...

Ordered everything from Burden Surplus Supply....

Good luck.
