The "quick hitch" subframe fits both the blower and the blade. You can switch from one to the other in about 2.5 seconds.
For heavy snowfall, there is no substitute for the blower.
It makes two feet of snow simply disappear before your eyes. On the other hand, when you just want to clean off a couple inches, it seems like a lot of machinery to mobilize for such a paltry task.

I suspect you could clear a foot, maybe more, with the blade. But this is only a guess, since I have not tried it. The problem, I think, will be the build up along the shoulder of the drive as the winter wears on. You don't get that with the blower. The up side is it would give you the opportunity to play with the loader in the winter time.

Thanks for the tractor compliment. That's why she's the Killer B.

Good luck. )

I think the 7610 will have a hard time moving a foot of snow, but possible )

I have cleared several 12 to 16 inch snows from my drive way over the past 39 years using nothing more than my little ole BOLENS 8.25 HP garden tractor with a manual lift 48 inch front blade

I recently purchased a B2765A front blade for my B7610. It痴 a 60 incher with power angle. I already have the quick hitch and front loader with the proper valve. Thus, all I needed was the B2765A. It cost me $1,400.00 out the door. Photo of the crate is attached.

What is the appropriate sub-frame for a B7610?

Hi Rusty,

No, you do not have to remove anything other than the deck itself. All the other MMM related stuff stays put. My deck is a 60 incher. I can't recall the model name and number.

When I first got the quick hitch, the only implement I had that used it was the snow blower. I decided to time myself just to see how long it took to hook everything up. With the tractor "naked" it took 6.5 minutes to hook up everything, including the quick hitch, the drive shaft that goes to it, the hoses, the chute crank and the blower itself. I did not rush anything, but worked steadily. The blade probably hooks up even quicker since there is no drive shaft or chute crank to mess with.

Attached is a photo of all that is needed to make the blower work. It really is a snap. The only thing that is even slightly strenuous is moving the quick hitch around the garage. It痴 a real chunk.

Hello Killer B,

I am totally new here and to my B7610 but I already have a solution, at least for myself for moving some of the heavy parts around the garage. I bought an ATV/Motorcycle lift a few years back for my bike but have used it around the garage moving things more than anything. It has nice easy rolling casters and spots on it to use straps to hold things to it tight while moving them around. Its also handy to bring things up off the floor to work on them. I have a Craftsman brand lift, bought on sale for $89, but there are several out there to choose from. Anyway just my 2 cents for something that I find handy.

Jim
