Tractor Sizing B7500 Size

I used to drive a full size Chevy 4X4 w/ Extended Cab. It got about 19 - 20. Now I'm driving a Honda Accord. It is doing about 30. Takes about an hour 5 - 10 minutes to fly er....drive it. Can make it faster in the truck. People move out of your way better when you are that much bigger than them and come up in the rear view mirror pretty fast /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Throughout the years I've always driven a Chevy truck to and fro Columbus. I've had 2 S/10s and finally 2 full size. I lost "custody" of my truck when my wife discovered that she liked driving the truck more than the car. So I get stuck with the car. Oh well. I'll continue running the Honda. It is cheaper to replace that than it is the truck - but if I were to have to replace the truck maybe I could get a new HD - hmmmm.....maybe I should start driving the truck again.

Thanks for advice. What kinda barn you putten up? I thought I like the medal barns because they cheeper, but wood might be more sturdier. You doning it yourself? My half brother Cletis is helping me. His son is going to help also. He dummer than a box of rocks but a good work horse. He remind me of baby huehy. I go down to TSC tonight and look at plows.

I'm not building anything spectacular. Just a small out building for the kids toys and so my wife can store some stuff. Currently I don't have a garage so everything (including my tool box, garden tractor) is in a shed 8x16 - can't find anything. So I'm building them a 12x16 shed. This should allow me to have room back in my shed. I'm at least thinking ahead. If/when I do manage to get me a 7500 I'm building the new shed to at least house it during the winter. I would then "take over" the 12X16 and they could have the current 8x16 - or we figure out a way to build a garage. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. Guess I'm not holding my breath on that one. If I get the tractor it will be a little while before we get a garage.

I was gonna put up a 8 x 8 garage for my traktor, tools, my boys toys, and my wife stuff. We have a carport right now but not able to park the car under it when it rain. I not sure if that big enough. Should I go bigger, like 10 x 10? Is 12 x 16 big?

I would go bigger than 8X8 even if you have a small garden tractor you will fill that space in no time. Even a small garden tractor is almost 4 foot wide and 5 foot long. Doesn't leave a lot of extra room. I think this 12X16 should work out pretty well. It should at least hold me over until we get a garage. 12X16 is about the size of a typical master bedroom (at least most homes I familiar with) so you could do some guesstimation from that as to what you could fit in it. I'm also going with a 4' shelf along the back and 3' shelves along the sides. It will also have an area up in the rafters that I could store some long skinny items i.e. fishing poles and the like that I don't get to use to often any more.

I went back and reread your post and you mentioned a metal building. If you are looking for a metal building relatively inexpensively, my father-in-law's sister has a metal building 10X14 she is wanting to sell. Only problem is it doesn't have a floor so you would have to come up with some for that. It is about a year or so old. Decent shape. I didn't buy it for 2 reasons - I was already in the process of building this new shed and the doors wouldn't open wide enough to fit my pull behind lawn mower. I think she is asking $200.
